In the next episode of "Modern Family," the Pritchett-Dunphy-Tucker family members recall their most impressive encounters with famous celebrities.

The synopsis for the upcoming installment titled "Brushes with Celebrity" was released just recently. The whole family led by patriarch Jay Pritchett (Ed O'Neill) gets together to share stories about their closest brushes with famous people. His son-in-law, real estate agent Phil Dunphy (Ty Burrell), starts off by relating an instance when he showed a house to his musical hero. Phil could not believe his luck that he was in the company of the famous musician he looked up to when he was younger. However, despite wanting to make a very good impression, Phil was feeling an intense pain radiating from an awkward part of his body. Needless to say, he had a difficult time handling himself with his musical idol.

Jay did not have any physical discomfort with his own brush with a celebrity. He relates to the family that he had the honor to serve jury duty alongside one of America's biggest football icons. It was a total surprise to him but still pleasant nonetheless. Just like Phil, he wanted to make a good impression in front of one of his football heroes. It remains to be seen who among the rest of the family will talk about their own encounters with a celebrity.

In the last episode, the family spent Thanksgiving together but the day was marked by intricate subplots of lies and manipulation. Luke (Nolan Gould) neglected Joe (Jeremy Maguire) who got stuck in a tree, Gloria (Sofia Vergara) used Claire's (Julie Bowen) marathon run to reach 100,000 steps on her FitBit-type device, and many more. In the end, they forgave one another in the spirit of Thanksgiving.

"Modern Family" season 9 episode 8 will air on Wednesday, Nov. 29 at 10 p.m. EST on ABC.
