Miami Heat trade rumors: Goran Dragic to be swapped for John Wall?

As reported by Sportsrageous, word has gotten out that the Washington Wizards are facing issues as their star point guard John Wall has admitted to having problems with his teammate Bradley Beal. Because of this, the Wizards are reportedly willing to trade Wall, and the Miami Heat are one of the teams interested in a deal.

According to the report, the Wizards will trade either player out if their feuds affect the performance of the team next season and several teams have already lined up to offer a deal. However, the Miami Heat are the top candidates right now and they are reportedly aiming to get Wall by trading out Goran Dragic.

The report points out that the Heat lost their primary player when Dwyane Wade decided to end his time with the team and signed on with the Chicago Bulls. Not only would this give the Bulls more firepower after they've lost Derrick Rose but Wade would also feel more comfortable since Chicago is his hometown.

It is further pointed out that Dragic is likely the only player the Heat can offer the Wizards since Dragic can replace Wall as the Wizard's new starting point guard. Dragic and Beal can then formulate their own partnership for the Wizards and Wall will give the Heat the needed offensive power that the team currently lacks.

While both players are expensive, the report states that the trade would still be legal under the NBA's terms and the trade would not exceed either team's financial cap. However, the trade might not happen since a one-for-one trade in the NBA, particularly for high-rated players, rarely pushes through.

It is important to note that neither team has yet made any official statement regarding the possible trade. Until the 2016-2017 season begins, Wall will remain with the Wizards and Dragic is still playing for the Miami Heat.
