Manny Pacquiao next fight news 2015: Bob Arum disappointed with Pac-Man after missing rehab for injured shoulder

Top Rank Chief Executive Officer Bob Arum was vocal in the past few months on who Manny Pacquiao might face next but the 83-year-old is currently upset with the former eight-division champion as he missed his rehab for a shoulder surgery he went through last May.

"As far as I'm concerned he's not an active fighter. Pacquiao was supposed to come over to see the doctor and for some reason he decided to cancel it. So he's not acting very professionally," Arum told AFP when asked about Pacquiao's future.

Pacquiao was set to visit his surgeon Neal ElAttrache earlier this month but instead visited a fellow countryman who is jailed in Indonesia.

Mary Jane Veloso was sentenced to death after 2.6 kilograms of heroin were found in her suitcase.

Pacquiao expressed his thoughts on Veloso's situation following the visit and said that she was a victim of human trafficking and he hopes they can save and spare her.

But Arum said Pacquiao must know his priorities and should have not cancelled the trip to his surgeon whom he was suppose to discuss his rehabilitation with.

"When you have an operation like that you've got to get into rehab. You've got to get the doctor to look at it and to guide you as to the kind of rehab that you've got to do," Arum said according to AFP.

The promoter added, "He's a grown man and he makes his own decisions but as far as I'm concerned he's not an active fighter."

Pacquiao underwent surgery five days after suffering a unanimous decision loss against Floyd Mayweather in the richest fight in boxing history last May 2.

According to the Filipino slugger's camp, he injured his shoulder while training for the mega fight and it was aggravated during the fight itself which hindered his movements leading to limited punches thrown.
