The upcoming "Justice League" film has recently wrapped filming, and one of the few teasers director Zack Snyder shared to fans was an image of Batman, played by Ben Affleck, in a brand new tactical suit. Affleck has since revealed some new details about the suit.

Speaking to Extra, he explained that the original, more traditional suit seen in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will still be seen in the movie, but at some point, he will have to switch over to the more tactical outfit. This will mirror how Batman has numerous kinds of suits in the comic books, each one for a specific need.

"There's two suits in 'Justice League,'" he confirmed. "One is the one that we've seen before, and then one that he augments because of the nature of the mission, which I can't give away. But it was a chance for them to play with the suit and add elements to it and kind of tech it out, and I thought they did a really good job. It was really fun," the actor went on to say.

Fans who have seen "Batman v Superman" will also notice that the tactical suit was already teased in that movie. There are scenes in the film where Alfred (Jeremy Irons) is shown working on a new Batman suit, and this unfinished costume resembles the one shown by Snyder.

According to Cinema Blend, this new suit appears to be designed to give Batman advantage when sneaking around, making him more agile to move and blend in the shadows. The new goggles on the mask also appear to give Batman night vision or thermal vision, allowing him to see and investigate in the dark.

It is unclear if this suit will be needed in taking down the new villain, Steppenwolf, or if may be related to the return of Superman (Henry Cavill) and the recruitment process of the Justice League members.

"Justice League" is scheduled to premiere on Nov. 17, 2017.
