'Justice League' spoilers, movie updates: Aquaman uniting the group?

Fans are trying to put their fingers on what Zack Snyder means with "Unite the Seven," a tagline that lies over a portrait of a grim-faced Aquaman as portrayed by Jason Momoa. But seven could mean any of several of things.

First, being the King of Atlantis himself, Aquaman has long been attempting to collect the relics of the seven seas for a reason that is yet to be determined. These relics, which are known to be massively powerful, are in the hands of The Others, according to Screen Crush. However, in the comics, Black Manta, the rumored baddie in the "Aquaman" movie, is said to be another creature after the artifacts, all to attain power.

On the other hand, Hollywood Reporter surmises that the underwater ruler is bringing his battalion to attack the surface world to avenge the undersea empire distressed by outside forces.

Many fans also believe that "Unite the Seven" simply means that the Justice League is close to forming. "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is not titled that way for no reason after all. This means that Superman, Batman, Aquaman, The Flash, Cyborg, Wonder Woman and most likely Green Lantern are on their way to save the world from evil.

The mystery here though is the reason why "Unite the Seven" is brought up with the introduction of a new and orange-free Aquaman. It is believed that the members of the Justice League are the "seven" part of the tagline, so does this mean that the undersea sovereign will lead the pack? Better yet, will he be the one to assemble them?

The events that will happen in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" should give every wondering fan the answer. The best thing to do for now is to wait until the highly-anticipated film starring Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck hits the big screen on March 25, 2016.
