He hasn't been born yet, but Baby Dilly already experienced how it feels to be in a boat.

Just three days ago, mum-to-be Jill Duggar Dillard posted a photo of herself with her husband Derick, his mother Cathy, and his brother Dan on Instagram. The picture is captioned "Going #eaglewatching with Mama C. and @justdand #babydillys first boat ride! #familytime."

The 19 Kids and Counting couple's baby, who is due in March next year, apparently also had other firsts.

Earlier this December, Derick shared a photo of himself and Jill, whose baby bump is certainly growing as she is now in her second trimester, watching the sunset on a beach after joining the rest of the Duggars on a mission trip to El Salvador.

The expectant father captioned the photo, "Headed back to the USA. Praise God for the work He is doing in El Salvador. #babydillysfirstmissiontrip."

The soon-to-be parents, who wed in June, revealed in late October that they are having a boy.

"I was really excited," said Derick. "As a new dad, to have a firstborn son to be our first child and be the leader of his siblings, it is very special."

The couple have also announced that they do not plan to follow the Duggar tradition, wherein all the children have names starting with "J."

"We are not going to do a letter theme," Jill said. "But we may do some kind of theme, like family names."

As to how many children they plan to have, the couple shared they will follow the footsteps of Jill's parents, Jim Bob and Michelle.

Jill said in April before tying the knot, "Both of us want as many kids as God will give us."

In late November, the excited couple shared a sonogram of their unborn son.

Derick posted the photo on his Instagram page with the caption, "I'm thankful for our baby boy! Awesome to think his heart has already beat about 26,784,000 times! Psalm 139:13-18"

Part of the cited passage reads, "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made."
