Jihadi John now on the run from ISIS

Latest reports believe that Mohammed Emwzai aka Jihadi John, a known member of Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS), is fleeing for his life, as there is speculation that the terrorist group could be dropping him soon.

That plus the fact that he is a target of U.S.-led coalition forces may have pushed the 26-year-old British-raised terrorist to take cover, possibly in North Africa.

Jihadi John first appeared in a video in August 2014 and his identity had been revealed only last February. He has not been seen in any of the videos since January and many are playing on the assumption that the alleged terrorist could have gone into hiding or perhaps be dead.

Emwazi finds himself in a situation where he would have to avoid two groups who technically want him dead.

On one end is the U.S.-led coalition who is hunting him down for the murder of journalists Stephen Sotloff and James Foley. He is also believed to be liable for the murders of aid workers David Haines, Alan Henning and Peter Kassig. Also on the list of possible people he may have killed is Kenji Goto of Japan.

As far as ISIS is concerned, there is no telling on why the group would want to kill Emwazi, although jealousy and being someone who would be of no use anymore could be valid points to eliminate the British terrorist.

So in all, Jihadi John's fate could be pretty much end up like those of the victims he executed.

Apparently, the revelation of his identity was his downfall, making him an open target. And with Emwazi identified, it seems only forthcoming that ISIS would cut all ties with the identified executioner since it could lead to dire consequences as far as the group's secrecy and whereabouts are concerned.
