iPad Pro, iPad Mini 4 release date: Devices launching alongside each other

Barring any changes, two of Apple's tablets are likely to make their debut in the market this coming October. October is the month where Apple normally unveils new iPad models so such shouldn't be too much of a surprise.

This is of course with reference to the iPad Pro and iPad Mini 4, both of which will likely headline the company's new roster of devices.

Though that remains unofficial, the belief is that the iPad Pro will tout a bigger screen. This is based on speculations that Apple has reportedly been testing prototypes with larger than the usual 12" screens though the company has yet to confirm if this is truly what Apple buyers can look forward to.

The word out is that the screen sizes could range from 12.2 to 12.9 inches. If true, this would mean that the upcoming iPad Pro will significantly be larger than the iPad Air 2 which sported a 9.7-inch display.

Would this be the way to go for Apple? Apparently the company is still reeling from lackluster sales from its previous offerings. It remains to be seen if (and when true) larger screens would pick up the slack and deliver better sales for Apple's upcoming line of tablets.

Aside from the larger screen rumor, other features that the iPad Pro could carry include a stylus and a re-designed overall make.

With a larger screen, such could allow users to view more than one app (at a time) on the display. Another rumor suggests that Apple could be adding a new capability which would allow users to use the iPad keyboards like one giant touchpad when moving the cursor around on apps.

With those features in mention, it seems to make sense that the iPad Pro will come with a larger display. But again, all these should be taken lightly until Apple hints at any confirmation that these are what the iPad Pro will actually have to offer.

As far as pricing is concerned, there is no word on how much the iPad Pro would cost. One site, Expert Reviews, called it at probably over $760.
