Huawei has just launched the new Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro smartphones, viewed as the Chinese tech maker's answer to Apple's iPhone X. Based on the latest reports, it appears that the company is not yet done in unveiling more premium handsets this year. On Dec. 5, Huawei is set to launch the Honor V10, which will boast a bezel-less display and some of the features of Mate 10 devices.

As reported by Android Authority, Huawei has already confirmed the arrival of the Honor V10 in December, with invitations for the event already given out. The invitation showed a glimpse of the new Honor device, where it is teased to have an all-screen display with reduced bezels. However, it will not be quite similar with Huawei's previous handsets that sported tall displays. Instead, the Honor V10 will get the usual 6-inch front display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The display panel is reportedly developed by BOE, the same manufacturer that Apple is considering to make the OLED displays for the future iPhone handsets.

It also appears that the Huawei Honor V10 will have the same artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities of the Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro, thanks to the powerful HiSilicon Kirin 970 processor under the hood. Although, it has yet to be revealed if the Honor V10 will boast the same AI-based software features such as facial and object recognition. Along with the Kirin 970 chipset comes the 6GB RAM and internal storage variants of 64GB and 128GB. The handset is expected to run the latest Android 8.0 Oreo OS.

Meanwhile, there is no word yet regarding the battery capacity of the Honor V10, but it is still expected to have the fast charging feature of Huawei's previous high-end smartphones. As for the camera department, the Honor V10 is likely to get a dual-lens setup, similar to Mate 10, with a combination of 16MP and 20MP sensors at the rear.

The Honor V10, although viewed as top-tier Huawei product, is not expected to become as expensive as the previous smartphones. The device is believed to be priced at CNY 3,000, or around $450 upon its launch next month. This is quite close to the price of Huawei Honor 8 in 2016.
