HTC One M10 is said to be the next flagship of the Taiwan-based manufacturer and rumors about the device so far make it out to be the best offering from the company yet. The device is also said to be HTC's way of showing that the complaint-plagued One M9 doesn't define the tech firm.
According to Ecumenical News, users hope that the flagship will offer a much more reliable battery, considering the underwhelming performance of its predecessor in that area. It is also being reported that the device may finally support wireless charging.
Reports also suggest that HTC is focusing on improving the imaging department of the flagship line by giving HTC One M10 a rear-facing shooter laden with enhanced autofocus technology. This should make for a wonderful camera.
Other specs to be expected on the latest iteration of the high-end line are a fingerprint scanner and a USB Type-C port, which already became a necessity for premium smartphone releases. The inclusion of such components should help the device attract users.
HTC One M10's display is expected to measure around 5 to 5.2 inches. Users can expect an overall makeover of the device's makings down to the appearance. While the company has put out superbly designed smartphones, it isn't hard to imagine seeing the tech giant outdo itself.
The flagship is said to be released three months after another upcoming top-tier smartphone in the form of a 5-inch HTC One X9 is released. This device is expected to be out during the first quarter of 2016 and it is believed to sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 4 GB RAM, a hefty 23-MP camera and a heftier 3,500-mAh battery.
Conflicting reports, however, indicate that the HTC One X9 will only have a 13-MP rear shooter, a 5.5-inch Full HD screen, 3,000-mAh battery, an unspecified MediaTek processor, 2 GB RAM and 16 GB storage.
