Peter Quinn (Rupert Friend) continues his secret work for Saul Berenson (Mandy Patinkin) and is stalking another prey in the upcoming episode of the political thriller series "Homeland."

In "Super Powers," Showtime reveals that Carrie Mathison's (Claire Danes) former partner is onto his new target after finishing his last bloody task. In last week's episode, Quinn killed a woman who has been trying to convince young girls to do a job for Allah and reach "paradise." After tracking her down, he shot her in the head and passed the evidence of his work to Saul — photos of the dead woman's body.

When he picked up his next assignment, he was seen agitated and suddenly drove off. Could Carrie be Quinn's new target? There is certainly no love lost between her and Saul, and the latter may just take upon himself to kill her. Using Quinn to end her life may be risky, but after the operative has gone rogue, there is no telling what he can do. Will Carrie perish via her old lover's hands?

Meanwhile, Cartermatt reports that the former CIA agent will be haunted by her past in the next episode. She and Jonas (Alexander Fehling) will reportedly be involved in a case tied to cyberterrorism. Carrie will be forced to relive her past and take a good scrutiny over some of the works she did while in the agency.

While she has established a new life in Germany, Carrie still cannot escape from the spy game. No matter how much distance she puts between the person she was and is now, she finds herself back where she first started out as an agent. Will her new case push her to reflect on the bygone days and the subsequent events thereafter?

"Homeland" season 5 airs Sundays at 9 p.m. EST on Showtime.
