General Hospital spoilers: is Nelle's scheme finally unravelling? Michael gets a warning

The tension is building in General Hospital and the spoilers for June 25-29 suggest the end is inching closer for Nelle.

She's been wickedly scheming to keep Carly in Ferncliffe but it may be imminent that she is sent down and ends up behind bars instead.

We saw last week how she tried to paint Chase as a stalker with an ax to grind but Michael wasn't having any of it and discovered that she actually sent herself the shirt. Michael's been trying to get Carly off the hook but the spoilers for this week suggest he might have taken a wrong turn.

The spoilers from SheKnows say for the Tuesday, July 26 episode: 'Michael gets a stern warning.'

Then for Thursday's episode on Thursday July 28, it's revealed that Chase will make a promise. Is that a sign that he is going to give away more details to Michael? Michael's certainly not going to rest until Carly's out but at the same time he needs to be careful to protect himself.

We wonder whether there will be answers this week to the mystery of the screaming patient that Jason was blocked from entering the room of by Dr. Collins.  Inquisitr suggests it could be Morgan, Carly's son with Sonny, or that it could actually have been Kevin, who Jason bumped into as he was coming to see Carly.  And that his evil twin Ryan is simply pretending to be Kevin all this time.  That would be an incredible plot twist if it turns out to be true.

Interestingly, the spoilers for Friday June 29 tell us: 'Jason and Spinelli catch a break.'  So will that break be something to do with figuring out the screaming patient or another breakthrough in their efforts to free Carly?

General Hospital airs on ABC every day this week at 2pm.
