"Frozen" was such a huge hit, and the pressure from the fans and the feasibility of launching another film convinced the company to go ahead with a second installment, with a possibility that it will be launched after 2018.

There are a lot of rumors about the plot, including the death of Elsa. However, this rumor is directly dispelled by The Telegraph in its report. Elsa is unlikely to die because the future success of the film is dependent on the character living on and enjoying her life as a royal. A report also stated that Elsa's closed personality in the first movie will be ditched in the second film. Fans will be able to see a happier, funnier Snow Queen in "Frozen 2."

Meanwhile, Chris Buck, one of the directors of the film, offered a tidbit and said they are working on a "cool" plot for the sequel. However, he could not reveal more details. Nonetheless, there are many exciting things to know about the movie.

Friendly snowman Olaf (Josh Gad) is confirmed to be in the movie again, and there are speculations that he will be getting his own shot at romance. The successful sidekick from the first film secures his right to be happy this time around.

Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel, the original voice actors for Elsa and Anna, will also be back for the sequel. It is rumored that the Arendelle sisters will be having a big duet in "Frozen 2." together with the expectation that the film will also be a musical just like the first one. However, the composers for "Let It Go" are still not confirmed to be joining the team for the new "Frozen" flick.

One thing is for sure though: "Frozen 2" will have new songs and one, maybe more, will be a hit to the many fans of the Disney franchise.
