Square Enix looks to be gearing up for something big regarding "Final Fantasy XV" for this year's Gamescom.

Earlier in the year, video game developer Square Enix noticeably left revealing news about "Final Fantasy XV" off of their to-do list for Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in lieu of their gigantic announcement regarding the "Final Fantasy VII" remake, and now it appears as though they are making up for it.

Square Enix has announced plans to hold numerous stage presentations at Gamescom for "Final Fantasy XV," according to Gamespot. The company has also said that they will be inviting some well-known personalities to the event to help present the game to the fans and also to provide their own unique takes on the upcoming title.

In addition to their plans to reveal more details about "Final Fantasy XV" at Gamescom, Square Enix has also announced that they will be providing a playable demo of "Final Fantasy Episode Duscae 2.0" at the event. The playable preview to be made at available at Gamescom will be the second part of the "Episode Duscae" demo that will presumably include some of the suggestions fans have made after playing the first part.

According to Movie Pilot, Square Enix may be planning to use the Gamescom stage to finally reveal the official release date for "Final Fantasy XV."

As for the other games Square Enix will be featuring at Gamescom, titles such as "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" and the upcoming "Hitman" title are also expected to receive a considerable amount of the spotlight at the event.

Square Enix will also be providing playable demos for the first time for several of their newest games at Gamescom. Titles such as "Just Cause," Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below," "Life is Strange," "Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward," and "Final Fantasy Type-0 HD" for the PC will be there for visitors to try out and enjoy at the event in addition to all the "Final Fantasy XV" news.
