Square Enix has announced that the highly-anticipated "Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae" demo will come out along with "Final Fantasy Type-0 HD" by next month. The former gives players access to the latter and it's great to know that there is no more waiting required for either one as they are launching together. "Episode Duscae" will come with a voucher code gamers will have to redeem online to be able to download and play "Final Fantasy Type-0 HD" to their heart's content.
Another goody Square Enix gave out to its patrons is a new gameplay trailer for the "Final Fantasy XV" demo. The trailer plucks the heartstrings of many as it greets them with the sense of grief, showing a soldier lifeless and drenched in blood next to a whinnying horse. A fellow soldier stands not so far from the painful scene, thinking how things could have come to the heartbreaking sight.
Gamers are also treated to a bigger look of the game's massive open world. Fans are taken to derelict structures, caves, big meadows and even a small roadside pit stop. Moreover, the new version of mechanic character Cid, as players will see in the game, looks insanely great. All this on top of what PlayStation Lifestyle calls the boy band vibe, where the leading group of guys walks with swagger, fights a terrifying beast and traverses the massive locale together.
Also worth mentioning is the musical score that serves as the perfect background for the melodramatic trailer. It was again the work of composer Nobuo Uematsu, who has always been giving music to the feelings and thoughts gamers have toward the wildly popular franchise. Along with many aspects of the trailer, not to mention "Final Fantasy XV" itself, Uematsu's take on this one brings the faithfuls back home.
"Final Fantasy: Episode Duscae" and "Final Fantasy Type-0 HD" will be released in the U.S. on March 17.
