Eminem new album 2016 release date news: other commitments coming in the way of new album

Rapper Marshal Mathers aka Eminem has been reportedly working on a studio album for some time, although no official release date for the album has been announced. According to a report from Chatt Sports Net, Eminem's commitments to other ventures are the main reasons for the possible delay in release.

It is noted that the famous rapper is busy with his tour in South America and his numerous business ventures. including one with StockX. Eminem is also working on his mobile game, "Shady Wars." It is further revealed that Eminem is currently in talks with Paramount for a television series that he may serve as music advisor and executive producer for.

A previous report also stated that Eminem is rumored to be involved in a movie adaptation of a book written by one of his former bodyguards. While the book is told in the bodyguard's perspective it would make sense for Eminem to serve as producer and actor.

The report also points out that Eminem is busy with his philanthropy work, using his music and stardom to promote charity for underprivileged work. According to the report, Eminem's effort help these children attain proper education.

When the album does release, it is rumored to include at least one track that will play on the feud between Eminem and Drake. While the feud is mostly just a publicity act, playing on the fact that Eminem is an old-timer in the industry while Drake is the new and most popular rapper today, such a track would attract even more sales for both artists.

It is further pointed out that Eminem may be facing financial problems which may force him to release the album soon. This marks the first year in a long time that Eminem has not been listed as one of the top earning celebrities, hinting he may need a big hit to boost his finances back up.

Eminem and his studio have yet to make any comment regarding these rumors and his album's potential release.
