Eminem new album 2016 release date update: Feud with Drake debunked; No new album in sight due to current commitments?

Marshall Mathers aka Eminem or Slim Shady has not released a new studio album since 2013 and fans have speculated that he will be launching new material before the end of this year. However, a report from the Ecumenical News reveals that the album might be pushed back due to current commitments.

The report also debunks a popular rumor that Eminem's new album will contain songs bashing famous rapper Drake. Fans had speculated the two are in some kind of feud given that Eminem is considered by many as a legendary icon in the industry and Drake is starting to usurp his throne as the new big name in rap music.

However, Drake brought on Eminem on stage during one of his recent concert events and paid tribute to Eminem and the duo performed together. This act may prove that there is no ongoing feud between them and in fact the duo may be collaborating on a new project together.

Fans speculate that Eminem may produce one of Drake's new songs or album in the future or that Drake could guest in Eminem's upcoming album. Nothing has yet been officially announced however and the information about a collaboration is still a popular fan theory.

MLive also reveals that Eminem has spent much of his time in Flint, Michigan where the rapper has spent much of his time working charity for underprivileged children. He has been donating for the Kids in Need Foundation and it is noted that the rapper has taken the time to reflect on his own troubled childhood in Detroit, Michigan.

Eminem has yet to respond regarding any rumors about his album and he has yet to announce when the projetc may finally release. While the album might still release by the end of this year Eminem's current schedule may push it back to sometime in 2017.
