The Duggar family has seen their success dwindle following the revelation that the eldest of 19 children, Josh Duggar, was guilty of molesting several girls, including his own sisters. Those actions have taken place 18 months ago, but the ramifications can still be felt today, including the possibility that his parents Jim Bob and Michelle are getting divorced.

According to a report from In Touch (via Hollywood Gossip), the Duggars are taking a financial hit due to Josh Duggar's actions. When the news was initially released, their reality show, "19 Kids and Counting," was canceled, and numerous sponsors immediately withdrew their support.

The family did launch a spin-off show, "Jill and Jessa: Counting On," but the report reveals that it is not bringing in as much money as their old show did. With declining viewers and advertisers pulling out their support, there have been rumors that the show is not going to get renewed for a third season.

As it stands, very few financiers want to be associated with a child molester and the family that continues to shelter him. It must be noted that as of writing, the family has opted to punish Josh Duggar on their own, allowing him to enter rehabilitation instead of facing criminal charges.

The problems between Jim Bob and Michelle sparked several months ago, but according to the report, their feud is getting more prevalent now that Jim Bob is not trying to fix their financial woes. The report states that Jim Bob is simply hoping that "Jill and Jessa: Counting On" will be a success and that it will get renewed for them to resolve their financial problems.

Jim Bob also reportedly hoped that the recent wedding of Jeremy Vuolo and Jinger Duggar would help boost the show's ratings but the show continues to see a decline, hinting further that the show may be canceled soon. Fans speculate that if the show is canceled and the family faces multiple debts then Jim Bob and Michelle may indeed file for divorce.
