Fans of "Dragon Ball Z" will be happy to know that the game's latest installment, "Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden" is making its way to the US very soon. The title by Arc System was released in Japan on June 11, and now, in just a matter of days, U.S. gamers will be able to get their hands on it and play the game in English.

The 2D fighting game will be released exclusively for Nintendo 3DS. As for how the game is played, the installment is very similar to "Dragon Ball Z: Budokai," where players choose among the characters from the "Dragon Ball" series to battle it out. The game features much-loved characters such as Goku, Gohan, Piccolo, Ginyu, Frieza, and Broly, among others. Each match is fought with a team of characters, and players will be able to switch between fighters at any time.

According to Geeksnack, a playable demo is now available for download so players can see how the game works. Players can also check out the English launch trailer for the game, which features a lot of possible combinations with regards to fighting teams.

European and North American gamers will get an exclusive bonus if they order the game on the eShop or via selected retailers. The freebie is a copy of "Dragon Ball Z: Super Butoden 2," which is an older title in the game series. The game will be available through a download code and will appear 24 hours within the game's shipping if ordered from Amazon. Apart from that, the bonus will also include a code to unlock other characters such as Baby Goku, Kid Goku, Kid Gohan, Garlic Jr., Metal Cooler, and Super Vegito.

"Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butoden" will be released in Europe on Oct. 16 and in the US on Oct. 20.
