"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" has proven to be a massive success for Bandai Namco, as it is regarded by fans and critics as a worthy follow-up to the original game. However, the game launched with numerous bugs and glitches for the PC and console ports, and the publishers have ushered out patch 1.02 to address many of these concerns.

Details of the new patch were released on Steam. According to the post, the day 1 patch was already implemented for the PC version of the game and that the following issues are only prevalent for Xbox One and PS4 players.

These issues include slow loading times, balance adjustments, particularly for the Awaken Power of Namekians and Male Majins, the reduction of lag during Online Play, altering the default condition settings when searching for opponents in Quick Match mode and several small adjustments.

PC users will also encounter several other issues separate from the aforementioned problems plaguing PS4 and Xbox One players. These include missing preorder characters such as Goku Black, controller problems, a recurring problem with the Depths of Despair Expert Mission Giant Ki attack, launch and crash problems, and issues with the English voice-overs.

It should be noted that the missing preorder characters issue has now been fixed.

Attack of the Fanboy does note that patch 1.02 is now live for the PS4 and is 700 MB in size. This patch addresses the problems listed above. No announcement has been made for Xbox One versions of the game, although it should have gone live since Nov. 1.

Unfortunately, the issues plaguing PC users are yet to be addressed. Bandai Namco explained that the developers are working on fixing these problems immediately, but only the missing preorder characters problem has been addressed thus far. It is likely that PC gamers will receive another patch update in the near future.
