A special content from the original game will make its way to "Destiny 2" this week. Starting on Nov. 21, the Iron Banner will be accessible to players for the first time.
As reported by PC Gamer, the Iron Banner event will run from Nov. 21 to 28, which will then be available for all Guardians that are able to finish the single-player campaign. Putting aside the differences between the first "Destiny" title and its sequel, the Iron Banner mechanics remain the same. To join, the qualified players will first have to visit "A Place We Don't Want to Spoil" or the location that is unlocked after completing the campaign mode.
The Iron Banner Quest can be obtained from Lord Saladin, which will direct the players to the next step of the process. The players should also look at the Iron Banner playlist that will become available in the directory, along with other Crucible modes after getting the quest from Lord Saladin.
The Iron Banner in "Destiny 2" will feature Clash, a simpler setup of the 4v4 death match mode. Participating in the PvP battle will give the players reputation tokens, which can be collected and turned over to Lord Saladin for exciting rewards. New challenges will be offered to players every day, plus their respective Milestones will also be shown to track progress. It will be better to accumulate as much tokens as possible before having them exchanged for a random reward item.
Meanwhile, Comic Book reported that PC players should be quick to obtain their season 1 Iron Banner emblem and shades of Radegast after finishing the Seasonal Milestone. This will be the only opportunity in the game to do so as the Iron Banner was only introduced in "Destiny 2" for the first time in many weeks.
"Destiny 2" is playable in Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC gaming platforms. To note, the first downloadable content pack of the online video game, "Curse of Osiris," is set to arrive along with brand new seasons and rewards on Dec. 5.
