Publisher Bandai Namco recently rolled out update 1.04 for "Dark Souls 3." The update includes all platforms, but PC users will see the latest update as version 1.03.1.

The "Dark Souls 3" 1.04 update will be fixing some balance and performance issues in its weapons, which include the Greatsword, Dancer's Enchanted Sword, Winged Knight Twinaxes, and the Farron Flashsword.

The issue when using multiple items at Road of Sacrifices, Farron Keep and Cathedral of the Deep after clearing the game has been fixed. Additionally, adjustments in the general game balance and other fixes were also implemented but were not itemized anymore.

The developer added that the Regulations issue being encountered by Xbox One players has been duly noted and is currently being worked on. No additional details were included on when the fix for the said issue will be rolled out.

VG247 reported that the multiplayer section of "Dark Souls 3" is also suffering from password matchmaking. The latest patch didn't mention any fix for that particular issue, and it may take a little more time to be fixed. However, game developer From Software issued an apology to its players with regard to the problem.

"Password matching done under the following conditions may result in an extended amount of time required for the match to complete," the developer said. "Many players are signed in the corresponding area. There is a large gap between the levels of the players who are using the password."

PC players are also said to be experiencing game crashes when joining in the Firelink Shrine bonfire. The latest patch failed to mention anything related to the issue, thus it is expected that players will still be experiencing the said issue, PCGamer reported.

However, the report did mention a workaround for those who are interested in enjoying the warmth of the bonfire.

"Dark Souls 3" is available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
