"Daredevil" seasons 1 and 2 have been highly praised by critics and audiences alike, but season 3 is not going to premiere on Netflix for some time. The streaming network is prioritizing the other shows that will further build the Netflix-Marvel cinematic universe such as "The Defenders."

Back in July, Entertainment Weekly's Natalie Abrams tweeted that Netflix will launch "Luke Cage" first, followed by "Iron Fist," and then "The Defenders," the last of which sees all of the Netflix heroes unite to fight one major villain. This team will also comprise of Daredevil (Charlie Cox) and Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter). It is unknown if The Punisher (Jon Bernthal) will also be making an appearance.

Gamezone states that this means there won't be a third season for "Daredevil" until after all of these shows have premiered. "Luke Cage" has just launched on Netflix and both "Iron Fist" and "Defenders" will air in 2017, indicating that "Daredevil" season 3, "Jessica Jones" season 2, and "The Punisher" won't premiere until 2018.

Because of how long it will take before the show returns, it is uncertain at this point what the plot may be or who the main villain is. It is highly rumored that Wilson Fisk, who is also known as the Kingpin (Vincent D'Onofrio), will return earlier than expected, presumably in "The Defenders," which means he may not be the main villain for "Daredevil."

Den of Geek does point out that Charlie Cox has stated in the past that the villain Bullseye would have to be introduced at some point, and it is possible this villain will make an appearance in season 3. Fans of the comic books will recall that it was Bullseye that eventually murdered both Elektra (Elodie Yung) and Karen (Deborah Ann Woll).

Netflix has yet to announce when "Daredevil" season 3 will officially premiere and whether it will air right before or right after the launch of "The Punisher" and "Jessica Jones" season 2.

If you look at the Church of England’s communications all that it ever seems to highlight is the good works that Christians do to improve the temporal well-being of their neighbours. It is right to highlight these things, but they are not the primary reason for the Church’s existence.
