Now that "Curb Your Enthusiasm" season 9 has concluded, fans and viewers want to know whether or not the comedy series will be back for a 10th installment.

Unfortunately, there is no official word yet from HBO if the comedy show will be renewed for season 10. However, executive producer Jeff Schaffer is hopeful that the adventures of Larry David will return to the small screen sometime soon. In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Schaffer teased about a possible 10th run.

"If there is a next season — I'll just say that we're talking about talking about it. That's the phase we are in right now. But I promise if we do do it again, there won't be as long of a wait," he expressed.

It seems that Schaffer and David are going over some ideas for a possible new season. David is known for carrying around a booklet where he jots down his ideas. Schaffer hinted that David may be doing that for the show.

"Larry is always carrying around his notebook. Now that we're not shooting and everyone is out in the world, I'm sure he's filling that notebook," Schaffer stated.

However, Schaffer said that it all depends on David's confidence about the new installment.

"The only way there can be another season is if Larry feels creatively that he has ideas for it," he shared.

Therefore, fans can never be too sure about their favorite show going on the air again. Nevertheless, Schaffer feels positive about where the show is heading.

In the season 9 finale, David's musical called "Fatwa!" was about to open but he got into a misunderstanding with the director Lin-Manuel Miranda. David accidentally shot a paintball into his mouth, which hurt his throat. Miranda was sidelined and the play was called off indefinitely.
