Chris Soules, star of 'The Bachelor', nowhere to be seen after crash

Recently, "The Bachelor" alumni Chris Soules was involved in a fatal car crash. The former reality TV star was charged with felony right after the incident. He then immediately filed for defense and was seen in public. However, Soules has not been spotted anywhere recently. Is Soules currently in hiding?

On April 24, the former "The Bachelor" star is reported to have rear-ended a tractor. The tractor was being driven by 66-year-old Kenneth Mosher, who died in the fatal incident. Right after that, Soules was charged with leaving the deadly crash which resulted in death.

Soules was arrested before being released after paying $10,000 bail. His defense team has then filed a motion to dismiss the felony charges.

In his defense, Soules attorney said that the former TV personality offered"reasonable assistance" to Mosher during the incident. He called 911 and told the dispatchers about him, saying that he did in fact "rear-ended a guy on a tractor."

However, despite the defense, officers said that Soules left the scene before they could arrive. The prosecutor also rebutted that Soules was not clear about what happened during the incident. The prosecution also pointed out that Soules did not include the facts about his "level of intoxication" and about the alcoholic beverages behind this truck. Apparently, he was seen buying alcohol at a convenience store before the crash, and these bottles were found in his truck.

Since his preliminary hearing, Soules has not been seen in public. According to E! News, an insider revealed that the "The Bachelor" personality has not been seen even in his Arlington, Iowa residence. Aside from this, his father — Gary Soules — has been spotted near a gas station without his son.

Even though Soules has yet to be seen in public, he is expected to make an appearance soon. His arraignment is set for May 23.
