Brett Ratner news: Director accused by six women of sexual harassment

Amidst all of the sexual harassment scandals, another major name has been dropped and that is Brett Ratner, the director of the "Rush Hour" franchise. It has been recently reported that six women, including American actresses, Olivia Munn and Natasha Henstridge.

In a report by Time, Munn had accused Ratner of pleasing himself in front of her back in 2004. A few years after that, he approached her and told her that he relieves himself sexually on magazines with Munn's pictures on them. It is still unclear whether these allegations are true or not. However, Henstridge, a fellow actress, has claimed that Ratner had coerced her to perform oral sex on him when she was 19 years old. At that time, she was working as a model.

The report was originally published by the Los Angeles Times, and there it stated that Ratner has been known to paint a playboy image for himself. He has been involved with other celebrities surrounded by controversy in the past such as Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton. Apparently, Ratner is known for being associated with other shady people, such as Robert Evans, who was eventually convicted for drug trafficking.

It is indeed difficult to swat these kinds of allegations, especially when multiple people come forward. According to WGNO ABC, the women have also claimed that the sexual assaults were conducted within movie sets and in the director's own home. Munn stated that she has put in a lot of effort to make sure that she never worked with Ratner because of her past experiences with him, and even likened him to a persistent "school bully."

Ratner has since denied all of these allegations, which has been made public through Ratner's attorney, Martin Singer. In the statement, Singer said that they are "confident in clearing Ratner's name," after the dust and chaos settles in the entertainment industry.
