The Boston Celtics recently acquired young Slovenian guard Zoran Dragić through a trade deal with the Miami Heat, who are continuously doing roster moves to lessen their salary and luxury taxes.

Dragić's departure from the Heat came in a day after point guard Shabazz Napier was traded to the Orlando Magic.

Included in the deal is $1.5 million in cash as payment for Dragić's contract and a 2020 second-round draft pick from Miami, the Sun Sentinel reported.

The Sun Sentinel added that in exchange, the Heat will receive a 2019 second-round draft pick that they will only get if the Celtics finish with one of the five best records in the NBA next season.

Dragić's deal was outlined in the same way as Napier's, as the Heat will also get a 2016 second-round draft pick from Orlando only if the Magic become one of five teams with the best record in the upcoming 2015-16 season.

The 26-year-old player's older brother, Goran Dragić, came with him to Miami after they were acquired via trade from the Phoenix Suns last season.

Goran emerged and became the main point guard for the Heat while his younger brother only played 10 games for the team after the trade.

According to reports, the Heat told Goran ahead of the deal that his brother would be traded and he was not upset believing that there will be better opportunities and more playing time for Zoran with the Celtics.

Zoran played in a total of 16 games last season, splitting it with the Phoenix Suns and the Heat, and averaged 1.8 points per outing.

Along with the trade deal for Dragić, the Celtics also made official last Monday some offseason moves, which included the acquisition of center David Lee via trade from the Golden State Warriors and the re-signing of forward Jae Crowder to a five-year deal.

Boston also accomplished the signing of their new recruits Terry Rozier and R.J. Hunter to their rookie deals.
