More surprising revelations and action-packed sequences are expected in the upcoming episode 29 of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations." The previous episodes of the popular "Naruto" anime spin-off revisited the Hidden Mist, showing the positive changes that happened in the village. Although, a new threat emerges as Shizuma, a rebel member of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist, plans to kill Boruto to spawn another great war against Konoha.

In "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" episode 29, the newfound friendship between Boruto and Kagura will be tested as Shizuma sets his evil plans in motion. As reported by Inquisitr, Shizuma will try to convince Kagura to join his cause and restore the legendary Seven Swordsman of the Mist back to its mischievous ways. The first step in his plan is to kill Boruto, in which Shizuma expects Konoha to retaliate against the Hidden Mist Village.

To note, Kagura finally got what he wanted as Chojuro, the master of the Seven Swordsmen, officially gave him the Hiramekarei sword. This means that Kagura is now a member of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist, although Shizuma will take this as an opportunity to use Kagura in his plans.

Kagura has great respects for Shizuma, and it is possible that Boruto's friend will be easily persuaded by the villain. "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations" episode 29 will show Shizuma manipulating Kagura into fighting Chojuro and killing Boruto. However, Kagura remains very loyal to Chojuro and the new vision of the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist. Kagura may also find a way to stop Shizuma, even if he treats the latter as his role model.

Kagura has formed a special bond with Boruto that is why it will not be surprising if the new swordsman of the Mist will protect his friend. As per Comic Book, Boruto was the one who convinced Kagura to join the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist. Kagura also could not help but recall the old ways of the group, which was previously known as blood-thirsty warriors. In the present timeline of "Boruto: Naruto Next Generations," the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist swore not to cause any harm to others and focus on the protection of their own village.
