'The Bold and the Beautiful' spoilers, recap: Steffy defends herself

Thursday on "The Bold and the Beautiful," Steffy tried explaining to Liam what happened with Aly, saying she was the one responsible for Aly's death, but not in the way that Ivy thinks. 

According to Steffy, Aly fell because she hit her with the tire iron, adding that she was defending herself. The act was witnessed by Ivy, who blamed her for Aly's death. Steffy added that Ivy has a video of the incident and is threatening to use it against her. 

Liam is shocked that Ivy took a video of the whole thing, and Steffy told him that Wyatt said it looked really bad.

Elsewhere at Forrester, Caroline and Thomas talked about Steffy, with Thomas saying that he thinks Aly's death changed Steffy. He added that he doesn't know what it's like to kill someone and that he feels like he doesn't know her anymore. Thomas also warned Caroline that this must stay between them, and showed her the video. 

At the beach house, Wyatt accused Ivy of wanting Liam back, which Ivy denied. Wyatt then revealed that Liam would go to Steffy and talk about Aly's death, and Liam would then come looking for Ivy. 

Wyatt's revelations proved to be true, and Liam arrived at the beach house and confronted them about the video, saying he wants to see it. Ivy complained that Steffy has everything, and Liam challenged her to prove that what Steffy did was anything but self-defense. Ivy warned him to be careful about what he's saying, and she said that what Steffy did was murder. 

Here's what to expect on "The Bold and the Beautiful" on Friday, Aug. 21: Steffy defends herself as Ivy tells her side of the story. Meanwhile, Caroline confides in Thomas about her dreams for the future.

"The Bold and the Beautiful" airs from Monday to Friday at 1:30 p.m. on CBS.
