'Battlefield Hardline' Xbox One release date: Game coming via EA Access

Battlefield Hardline EA Games

Xbox One users will get a chance to play "Battlefield Hardline" as Electronic Arts confirmed that it will be bringing the title to Microsoft's console ahead of its officials release date.

This is another good reason why one should head on in subscribing to EA Access. The service only costs $5 per month, but it provides players discounts and free games. Also, through EA Access, gamers are able to try "Battlefield Hardline" for free. Yes, no commitment and no purchase needed.

"Yes, you will be able to get early access to Battlefield Hardline through EA Access," reads the game publisher's post on Twitter.

The game title will arrive days before the official release date on March 17. However, the specific dates when it will be available are still undisclosed. The sample will be available for about a week, then gamers should purchase the full game. Players will most likely be able to transfer their gains to their official accounts.

Meanwhile, game developer Visceral Games will soon release the beta version of "Battlefield: Hardline." There's more good news to gamers as the developer announced that it will be an open beta and is open to everyone who wants to play it. The title will include new modes such as Hotwire and Conquest. Moreover, there will be no limit on the max progression level.

"To be frank, we want you to play this beta to death. We need you to. This test is only going to make the game stronger, and help us take a look at ways we can ensure we deliver the most stable launch you deserve," wrote Visceral Games general manager Steve Papoutsis in the game's official website.

"Battlefield Hardline" for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC will be officially released on March 17 in North America and on March 20 in U.K.
