There are only a few weeks left before the much-awaited return of the worldwide-hit anime series "Attack on Titan." Picking up where the previous season had left off, the third chapter will focus on the raging between the pack of human survivors and the flesh-eating tians. However, there is more reason for the fans to catch "Attack on Titan" season 3 as Levi, one of the most interesting and complex characters in the show, is expected to make a big comeback.

The next batch of promo posters for "Attack on Titan" season 3 has been revealed, and Levi's fans are quick to notice that the latest promotional art is focused on the Survey Corps soldier. A promo image shows Levi wearing his classic military outfit with a green cloak surging behind him. He is depicted with a fearsome and serious facial expression, looking as if he is ready to kill more titans along the way.

It is quite noticeable that the recently released posters for "Attack on Titan" season 3 are focused on Levi. This made the fans suspect that the third season will give more highlights to the character. Long-time fans would know how important Levi's role is in the series, especially in the first season as he helped Eren in his training. For some reason, the character was only featured in a few scenes in season 2. In the upcoming season, the soldier is expected to make his presence felt once again.

Interestingly, "Attack on Titan" season 3 will use the "Uprising" story arc from the original manga series, wherein Levi will be featured more often compared with the previous arcs. This story arc will involve more political rivalries, perhaps concerning Paradis and the dangerous plot of its leaders to maintain their influence among the remaining human survivors.

Moreover, the principal director of "Attack on Titan" season 3, Tetsuro Araki, teased that the fans will learn more about the fate of the newly-revealed titan shifters in the series. It looks like these characters will suffer the consequence of their secret being uncovered.

"Attack on Titan" season 3 will be released this April.
