The Asus Republic of Gamers GX800 laptop is now out, after having been unveiled earlier this year. The 18-inch laptop is being touted as the most powerful gaming laptop in the market, being built to give the smoothest 4K and VR gaming experience.

As stated on the company's official website, the GX800 features Windows 10 Professional, the Intel Core i7-6820HK processor, and 64 GB DDR4 2800 MHz SDRAM. Ensuring the highest graphical prowess is the NVIDIA GTX GeForce 1080 SLi GPU card.

To ensure no slowdown is the built-in Hydro Overclocking liquid cooling system. This guarantees that even when everything has been overclocked, the laptop will be running on its highest possible capabilities without burning out. This unique cooling system circulates between the processors and the graphics card to reduce heat.

Keeping the laptop powered are two separate 330W power adaptors, which gives juice to the laptop and the cooling system.

Hardware-wise the laptop comes with the Mechanical Tactile Advanced Gaming keyboard. This comes with customizable RGB LED-backlit keys and mechanical switches. The laptop itself is covered with an anti-glare coating, and the 18.4-inch display offers a maximum 3840x2160 4K Ultra HD resolution.

The design of the ROG GX800 is to enable the highest quality gaming possible. The site states that even newer games will be able to run at the highest, Ultra settings, at still get a consistent framerate that can sometimes go over 90fps.

However, the main draw is that the ROG GX800 is also built for plug-and-play VR gaming. A wide majority of headsets are already compatible with the gaming laptop, and VR games can be played at a smooth 60fps even at the highest graphical settings.

It also comes with stable connection features and the ROG-exclusive Sonic Studio II that enable users to quickly stream to networks like YouTube Gaming and Twitch.

As of the moment, the Asus ROG GX800 costs $4,700.
