There is another crime fighter in town and Oliver (Stephen Amell) will not be happy to know who the person behind the superhero mask is. In a crime in progress, Laurel (Katie Cassidy), in her complete business attire, hits and batters the bad guys to save the day. As it turns out, Laurel doubles as the Black Canary and it will all be seen in episode 13 of "Arrow" titled "Canaries."

While the hooded vigilante hates the fact that his ex-girlfriend and on-and-off love interest goes out and about and risks her life as Black Canary, Arrow seeks her help to take down drug creator and dealer Vertigo (Peter Stormare), who decides to hit the streets of Starling City to do what he does best — wreaking havoc. However, Oliver's fears for Laurel's safety is realized when she decides to deal with The Count alone.

Suiting up as Black Canary, Laurel preps up to battle Vertigo but ends up getting a full dose of the menacing drug from the returning baddie, which leads her to hallucinate that she is fighting her sister Sara (Caity Lotz) who is even wearing the same Canary costume. This easily spells major trouble for Laura, whose biggest fears involve her beloved sister.

Elsewhere, Chase (Austin Butler) surprises Thea (Willa Holland). In the same episode Roy (Colton Hayes) warns Thea to stay away from Malcolm (John Barrowman) for her own safety. In an international trailer for episode 12, John Diggle (David Ramsey) convinces Oliver to reveal his secret identity to her younger sister before he loses her for good. In turn, the vigilante archer brings her to Team Arrow's headquarters, where Arrow's costume is kept.

Written by Jake Coburn and Emilia Ortega Aldrich and directed by Michael Schultz, "Canaries" will be aired on Feb. 11.
