Before "Arrow" finds its way back to television, fans are forewarned of the impending death of one character.

Actor Stephen Amell stirred up a bit of a commotion in the "Arrow" community when he tweeted, "Goodbyes are tough. Even when they're scripted," leading fans to believe that the return of the series will be kick-started with demise.

Ultimately, the quest on finding out the mystery behind the soon-to be-dead character commenced. Rumor mills chomped hard to reveal that Malcolm Merlyn's days may be over soon. However, it will not happen in the hands of Ra's al Ghul. Sometime in the future, Merlyn may finally pay for killing Sara Lance, now that Laurel and Nyssa al Ghul are close to banding together.

Executive producer Andrew Krisberg dished out that Laurel and Nyssa al Ghul will be brought closer in the coming "Arrow" episodes. With their own grudge on the wealthy businessman, it would not be impossible for them to join forces to finally serve justice.

As Katrina Law, who plays Nyssa in the series, said in an interview with Comic Book, "The two of them [Nyssa and Laurel] may have more in common than Nyssa had originally thought."

Maybe one of those similarities is the desire to make Merlyn pay for his crimes.

"Arrow" has yet to show more of Thea's disposition on Sara's death other than the fact that the guilt of being forced to kill her is eating her up.

"We're working towards telling a different story with Thea," executive producer Marc Guggenheim told E! Online. "It won't always be just her acting out. She's processing a huge amount of guilt and regret."

As "Arrow" moves along, Guggenheim promised that Thea's story will press on as well.

In the meantime, episode 16 titled "The Offer" will reveal if the hooded vigilante will continue to protect Starling City as The Arrow. The episode will air March 18.
