'Arrow' season 3: New characters Daniel, Seth, Toshi and Akiko to be added to cast

The first two seasons of "Arrow" did not disappoint and the same can be expected in season 3. TVLine was able to get new casting information and shared that there will be four new characters in "Arrow" season 3.

A set of new characters is certainly something to look forward to, especially for die-hard "Arrow" fans. Although this is not exactly what is written in the comics, CW's "Arrow" enjoy putting their own spin in the superhero series.

So, who are the new characters that will join "Arrow?" Well, there's Daniel, Seth, Toshi and Akiko. Let's dig deeper into each one.

Daniel is speculated to be a dummy name for those who like spoilers. He is in his twenties, "handsome and enigmatic." TVLine describes him as a "highly intelligent entrepreneur developing groundbreaking technology." Daniel looks confident but he is hiding a horrible past and this is what motivated him to be a tech-powered superhero. Further, Daniel will be Felicity's love interest and will be Oliver's personal and professional rival.

The next one is Seth. He is smart and knows chemistry pretty well. He makes a drug that will drain a person's willpower, this is how he wins over his enemies.

Toshi is one of the characters that will recur in Oliver's Hong Kong flashbacks. He will be in his late 20s or early 30s. Toshi will be Oliver's teacher in the flashback. He is a good friend to Oliver. In addition, Toshi is a well-trained fighter and is a father and husband.

Akiko is Toshi's wife, which will also only be seen in Oliver's Hong Kong flashbacks. Toshi and Akiko were Oliver's caretakers when he was in Hong Kong. Akiko, just like her husband, is also a martial artist.

Do you think Daniel and Seth will make for a formidable foe? Will there be any more new characters added?
