In the next episode of "Young Sheldon," little Sheldon Cooper (Iain Armitage) uses statistics to help his high school football team win a game.

The trailer for the upcoming episode titled "A Solar Calculator, a Game Ball, and a Cheerleader's Bosom" was just released recently and showed Sheldon reading a book about physics and giving advice to his father George (Lance Barber) about football in the living room. However, his dad, brother Georgie (Montana Jordan), and sister Missy (Raegan Revord) look at him in disbelief. They think that Sheldon does not know what he is talking about and continue watching television. His grandma Meemaw (Annie Potts) asks his mom Mary (Zoe Perry), "Who's his real daddy?" However, George listens to Sheldon and starts to think twice.

Apparently, the father, who is the coach of the high school football team, takes Sheldon's analysis and applies it to his strategy. Later at the game, the team goes up against the rival and is able to fend off their offense. When they hit a touchdown, his mom Mary (Zoe Perry) and the rest of the spectators stand up and cheer. "Booyah!" Mary shouts at the top of her voice as the team wins the whole game. At school, young Sheldon is greeted with cheers when his dad tells the school kids that his son helped him win the football game.

In the last episode, Sheldon almost choked on a sausage but his father was able to save him when he turned the kid upside-down to get the food out of his throat. The child then avoided solid food out of fear but was able to overcome it later when he got hungry and ate a licorice stick.

"Young Sheldon" season 1 episode 5 will air on Thursday, Nov. 23 at 9:30 p.m. EST on CBS.
