Here is a recap of the most recent episode of CBS network's "The Young and the Restless" plus a few spoilers/predictions for what might happen this week.

J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckenbill) and Victoria Newman (Amelie Heinle) seem to be having trouble holding themselves back as the two continued their passionate affair, with their latest tryst occurring inside Victoria's place.

Things take a quick turn from ardent to being extremely awkward, however, when the two find out that they actually weren't alone. Victoria's father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) had walked in on the couple, and the pair may as well have had a bucket of icy cold water splashed all over them.

In fairness to Victor, the Newman patriarch has played it far cooler than any parent who has walked in on their children during their times of privacy. He explained that he let himself in since the door was unlocked and calmly asked Victoria for a book that Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu) needed for his homework.

He also disagreed with his daughter in terms of handling her son, as he implied that reed's current rebellious phase is due to Victoria being too laid-back and what the boy really needs is discipline. He also reminded her to get her focus where it needed to be as he thinks her affair with her ex is "a waste of time."

Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) literally goes the extra mile in his attempt to win back Lily (Christel Khalil) by following her to Paris after failing to convince her to stay. Both of them are oblivious to the fact that they are staying in the same hotel and their rooms are right across of each other's.

Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) is considering staying in Paris for a fresh start and tries to convince Lily to stay with her, but she refuses, saying that everything she needs for starting over is back home, possibly referring to Cane, who, unknown to her, is much closer than she thinks.

Other possible events for the rest of the week will include Abby getting a surprise visit of her own, Victoria realizing that his father was right about J.T. being a distraction, which will cause her to make a rather difficult decision. Cane and Lily returning from Paris with a shocking decision, so there is a big chance that the two will reconcile this week.
