The Xiaomi Mi Note 2 and the bezel-less Xiaomi Mi Mix have officially launched in China. Both phones have exhibited high-end capabilities at affordable prices compared to their competitors, but it turns out neither of them is going to be made available outside of the country.

According to a report from Android Central, neither phone is going to be released outside of China. The Mi Mix, in particular, is not being launched internationally primarily due to its limited stock. This is because the Mi Mix uses a ceramic casing, and the report further points out the concerns of the manuals and labels for the international market. The Mi Mix is also a concept phone which is why it is not yet ready for mass production on an international scale.

The Mi Note 2, however, may still be made available in the US and the UK but in a different manner. The report states that the original Xiaomi Mi Note was not released internationally, but the company did launch the Mi 5s, which was basically the same phone with the same specs and features. It is possible the Mi Note 2 will be given the same treatment.

However, Xiaomi has yet to announce if this international phone may be labeled as the Mi 6 or something else. It is also undetermined if it will have the exact same specs as the Mi Note 2 or if some differences will be applied such as a different screen size or battery.

Some subtle changes may be required given how similar the Mi Note 2 is to the failed Samsung Galaxy Note 7, which has recently been halted due to its faulty design that causes combustions. By changing the Mi 6's design, the company may be able to prevent Western consumers from comparing it to the Galaxy Note 7.

The report does point out that even if no such phone were released, it won't be long before the Xiaomi Note 2 becomes import-ready through sites like eBay.

If you look at the Church of England’s communications all that it ever seems to highlight is the good works that Christians do to improve the temporal well-being of their neighbours. It is right to highlight these things, but they are not the primary reason for the Church’s existence.
