She may not have been in the 2018 Royal Rumble match as a competitor as expected, but former Ultimate Fighting Champion "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey still managed to surprise the Philadelphia crowd with an appearance after the show.

The live event was nearing its conclusion as Asuka was declared the winner of the first-ever women's Royal Rumble match. Flanked by Smackdown Live Women's Champion Charlotte Flair and Raw Women's Champion Alexa Bliss, the world awaited to hear the Japanese striker's decision as to which champion she would like to face.

And then Joan Jett's song "Bad Reputation" suddenly filled the arena and the crowd exploded as Rousey made her way to the ring and declared her intention to be part of Wrestlemania 34, informing the entire world that she has now officially signed with the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).

Her appearance was a big surprise as she recently threw off the entire WWE universe by telling TMZ just three days before the Royal Rumble that she and the company have not reached a deal yet, implying that she would not be attending the pay per view in spite of very insistent rumors.

It certainly was not the case when she tore the roof off the Wells Fargo center.

Now rumors are circulating that the WWE is looking to giving her a great debut while easing her transition into the wrestling business by pairing her with the ever-popular Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. If the pairing pushes through, they will be taking on the power couple of WWE COO Triple H and his wife, Raw Commissioner Stephanie McMahon.

While the prospect of the two famous personalities pairing up in the grandest stage of them all is very exciting, there are still things that must be sorted out as early as possible, such as The Rock's current insurance policy with Hollywood that prevents him from wrestling a full match to avoid injury.
