'WWE 2K17' DLC release date, features news 2016: Legends Pack released; DLC adds Eddie Guerrero and Sycho Sid to roster

Game company 2K has just launched the second main DLC for "WWE 2K17," their most recent wrestling title from the popular franchise. Dubbed as the Legends Pack, this DLC comes with a decent addition of iconic wrestlers from WWE and WWF history.

As noted by Gamespot, this DLC adds in Eddie Guerrero to the roster. Along with him are Sycho Sid, Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake, Tatanka, and Greg "The Hammer" Valentine. Guerrero is known for being one of the most iconic title holders in the WWE.

This follows the launch of the Goldberg DLC, released earlier this month, which added Bill Goldberg to the roster.

In the US, the DLC will cost $8.99 for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One versions of the game. However, the DLC will cost £7.39 and AU$13.45 for the PS3 and PS4 versions, but only £7.19 and AU$11.95 for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions, in the UK and Australia respectively.

The report also reveals that the game is set to receive a lot of DLC content and not just these two packs. There is also a season pass currently available for $30. Since its launch in October, the game has also received several free patches that addressed bugs and glitches, and that added improvements to the game.

According to Forbes, the game is still going to receive the "Future Stars Pack," the "Hall of Fame Showcase," and the "New Moves Pack" in the months to come. Several of these are also included in the Season Pass and are also available to those who have ordered the special editions of "WWE 2K17."

"WWE 2K17" has been widely praised as a big step forward for the long-running video game series, refining many of the mechanics that have been criticized and utilizing a brand new engine. Gamespot did give the game a 6 out of 10 rating due to the title still getting held back by issues, glitches, and lack of content.
