Kenny Omega is probably one of the most popular wrestlers who are not currently working for the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).

With New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) steadily gaining fame by delivering matches that only seem to get better every time, the company has captivated fans all over the world. Many of their talents have received worldwide recognition and international fan bases, making them equal in reputation with WWE superstars.

That is why fans get extremely excited whenever they hear that a wrestler from NJPW is moving to WWE. Stars like Kenta Kobayashi, Fergal Devitt, Shinsuke Nakamura and others have been household names long before they stepped into "the big league." And when Kenny Omega is mentioned, it is equivalent to hearing big names like John Cena or Randy Orton.

Fans have been clamoring for Omega to join the WWE for years now. His accomplishments in Japan have spoken for itself, and he is easily as capable of headlining a pay-per-view as any of the current top stars in the company.

Omega was recently interviewed by The Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez, as reported by YouTube wrestling news channel Wrestling Pro. In the video, Omega was asked whether there is any plan for him to go to the WWE when he is able to accomplish his goals in New Japan.

Omega stated that he does have some sort of interest in going to the WWE because there are so many things that he can do, such as having great matches with the likes of A.J. Styles, Kevin Owens and Shinsuke Nakamura, just to name a few.

He also expressed interest in what the company can offer outside of the ring, such as his friend and current WWE superstar Xavier Woods' "Up Up Down Down" channel on YouTube, where he has already appeared as a special guest. The channel focuses on everything about anime and video games, often with special appearances from WWE superstars.

Omega also said in the video that while he knows that a WWE signing is likely, he is not in a hurry to leave Japan because there are still so many things that he wants to accomplish before he does.
