Worship Leader Andy Flannagan to Release New Book

Andy Flannagan, Youth for Christ's national songwriter and worship leader, will release God360°, a book containing 120 devotions, in the beginning of April.

Flannagan explains: “When our knowing becomes separated from any doing, we are merely academics commentating on a game that we will never really play in. Don't get me wrong: I love reading Bible stories ... but I want more.

“I don't want just to read the story - I want to be part of the story, God's big story, and hopefully this book will provide you with many "access points" where you can step into that story as well.”

Flannagan’s book explains that our knowing ‘grows in the doing,’ and encouraging readers to see their lives transformed by this experiential principle, just as his has been.

Pete Greig, founder of 24/7 prayer, writes in the foreword, “[Andy Flannagan] hijacks the entire devotional genre in the name of Jesus, inviting each one of us to join him on a 360 degree encounter that is disturbing, demanding, occasionally funny and above all just devastatingly ‘normal.’”

Flannagan is speaking and performing at this year's Spring Harvest event, both sites. He is also the author of Distinctive Worship, published by Spring Harvest publishing and Authentic under their Youthwork the resources label, which gives ideas on crafting worship experiences in a post-modern context.

In addition, Flannagan's latest album Son is availabe in stores now. For more information on Andy Flannagan, go to www.AndyFlan.com.
