Expect to see a very different Dolores Abernathy in the sophomore season of "Westworld" on HBO.

During the finale of season 1, Dolores found out that she is really the murderer named Wyatt and learned about the real purpose of the maze. This prompted her to shoot and kill Dr. Robert Ford. This means that all the discoveries will pave the way for Dolores to have a major change of heart when the character returns for season 2.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, actress Evan Rachel Wood revealed that fans will see a different version of her character when the Western-themed sci-fi series returns next season.

"I'm really curious to see the unleashed version of her that we caught a glimpse of at the very end of the finale," the actress stated. "Those final seconds, I think we were seeing a completely different side to her, completely different programming and completely off of her leash, so I don't think she will be the same person; she'll be an evolved version."

Meanwhile, co-star James Marsden also said in a separate interview with Star 2 that his character Teddy Flood will remain a good person in the next installment of "Westworld" despite the many changes in the mysterious Western theme park.

"There's a virtuous element to the character," Marsden said in the interview. "Although against all odds, he will still do the right thing. He'd rather live a peaceful life. I love him working towards that and then getting pulled back and getting killed, reset, and then getting killed and reset (again)."

At the moment, HBO remains mum about the possible premiere date of "Westworld" season 2. But HBO programming president Casey Bloys told Entertainment Weekly that he believes the series might make its sophomore debut sometime in 2018 since the show needs some time to develop due to its massive world.
