Washington Redskins vs New York Jets live stream (Fox TV): Watch NFL 2015 football online (Week 6 preview)

The Washington Redskins go on the road on Sunday to face the resurgent New York Jets at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Coming into Week 6 of the NFL 2015 regular season the Jets are an impressive 3-1 and will be confident they can claim a fourth win of the season here today against the struggling 2-3 Redskins. The game has a scheduled start time of 1 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the Fox network or online through live stream via the link below.

The Jets are experiencing their best start to a season in five years and they will want to capitalize on that and build a strong foundation to make a push for a Playoff spot.

The Redskins meanwhile have shown more fight than some expected so far, but ultimately this is a results business and Washington have failed to turn their good work into results, and if they do not start getting the wins they need then they will be staring at another lost season.

The Jets have never actually defeated the Redskins at home, and coach Todd Bowles has called for New York to keep their feet on the ground and to keep their heads down and work hard.

Bowles has said, "We understand that we've only played one quarter of the season and all we did was get off to a good start. We haven't accomplished anything."

The Jets have been strong in defense and have already forced as many turnovers this season so far as they did in total last year. They have stolen the ball 13 times, including five by Darrelle Revis, and today they face a Redskins team that is tied for suffering the 8th most turnovers in the league.

If Washington want to claim the win today then this is the area they must succeed in. In each of their victories this season, quarterback Kirk Cousins has not thrown an interception, but in their three defeats he has thrown six, showing the massive affect this can have on their game.

Against the Atlanta Falcons, Cousins threw an interception in overtime, which was returned 59 yards for a touchdown as the Redskins lost 19-25.

Elsewhere in the NFL, earlier this week the Atlanta Falcons suffered their first defeat of the season, coming up short against the New Orleans Saints on NFL Thursday Night Football.

Drew Brees was the clear difference between the teams, with the Saints' quarterback passing for 312 yards. Brees connected excellently with Ben Watson, who posted a career high of 127 yards receiving, including a fourth down touchdown catch.

The game also saw an spectacular punt block by Michael Mauti, who went on to recover the ball for a touchdown to the delight of tens of thousands of fans at the Superdome.

There were also two short touchdowns for Mark Ingram, as the Saints put on arguably their best display of the season so far. The New Orleans defense also were fantastic, and arguably turned the game by recovering three fumbles, including two inside the Saints' own 20 yard line.

Even though there was a late rally by the Falcons, it was a matter of too little too late for Atlanta as they went down 21-31.

Today's big game between the Washington Redskins and the New York Jets has a scheduled start time of 1 p.m. ET. The game can be watched on TV on the Fox network or online through live stream by clicking here.
