Chinese smartphones have begun making a big impact, with Xiaomi and LeEco releasing some high-end products this year. The upcoming Vivo Xplay 6 is going to continue this trend as it is currently speculated to launch before the end of November, and it will also be a high-end contender.

According to GSM Arena, a few photos were leaked, indicating that it will feature a large, curved edge display and that its home button may also function as a finger scanner. At the back of the phone, it appears that the Vivo Xplay 6 is going to feature dual cameras, a trend that is becoming more common and even the iPhone 7 Plus features this technology.

The phone is also slated to come with the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor and up to 6 GB of RAM. Onboard storage is rumored to begin at 128 GB, although this might increase to a maximum of 256 GB or even 512 GB.

It is also stated that the phone is coming with a 4,000mAh battery and will feature Android 6.0 Marshmallow utilizing Vivo's own Funtouch OS 3.0 as its front-end. The full details and capabilities of its OS have yet to be determined.

Other than that, however, nothing else is sure about the specs and features of the phone. The report states that at least one fo the rear cameras will be a 16 MP camera although it is uncertain if they will feature the same specs or if one camera is more powerful than the other.

According to the report, Vivo is also going to unveil the Vivo X9 and X9 Plus this coming Nov. 16. It is uncertain if the Vivo Xplay 6 is going to be unveiled during the same event or if it is being saved for a much later event during the last week of November or during early December to take advantage of the shopping spree.
