Vikings season 3 www.ibtimes.com

After the heart-thumping episode where Princess Kwenthrith (played by Amy Bailey) was seen poisoning her beloved brother, things get more interesting for this hit History channel TV series.

In the enticing sneak peak clip, a heated exchange is shared between Lagertha and Kalf. The traitor says, "I know you must hate me" and continues to say, "Just let me say that I was born here in Hedeby. I belong here. I have a better claim than you do even though I share the world's admiration for you." Kalf stated that he wants the label of Earl for the sake of the people in Hedeby. This episode is aptly called "The Usurper."

It has already been a heartbreaking season when fans had to watch as Siggy (Jessalyn Gilsig) met her fatal end while attempting to save Ragnar's (Travis Fimmel) children. There is still also the issue of Aslaug's cheating on Ragnar. What will happen now that Ragnar knows about it?

The show continues to received compliments for maintaining a story that is founded on its characters and their development. Although many events seem to take place simultaneously, the story continues to come together in a natural way.

"Vikings" is a historical drama launched in 2013 in the United States and Canada. Its story is inspired by one of the more popular mythological Norse heroes, the sagas of Viking Ragnar Lothrbok. Its central story runs on Lothbrok's rise to fame as he finishes one successful raid after the other with his family and warriors. It is written and directed by Michael Hirst.
