With the annual celebration of the Mexican army's upset over the French army back in 1862 over, celebrations are dying down and people are getting ready to go back to the daily grind after Cinco de Mayo. The holiday experience was no different for gamers of the action-adventure video game "Uncharted 4."
While the rest of the country was drinking and celebrating Cinco de Mayo, "Uncharted 4" players were treated by game developer, Naughty Dog. According to their blog update, Uncharted 4 came with a lot of freebies, including a stylish cap with a Mexican flag emblem in accordance to the holiday. The classic mode returned to the Beta Test Playlist to give a different perspective to gamers and let them share their feedback on it.
"For our latest Classic Mode test, we're introducing some new gameplay changes. In addition to no down state or Mysticals, we're also implementing instant respawns and restricting use of Hero Weapons and the Marking and Combat Marking Boosters. We're also eliminating all deployable Gear, save for Grenades," Naughty Dog reported in a blog update.
Further updates allowed gamers who would play the classic mode, multiplayer mode, or survival to earn 50 percent bonus on all Relic Challenges. As for the cap, "Uncharted 4" gamers were able to get it for free as long as they log on and play multiplayer or survival from May 5 to May 8.
Other updates for this month included bug fixes, balance changes, and a fix for the ranked multiplayer system. With updates flowing in and out, many gamers surely spent Cinco de Mayo holed up with their PlayStation 4 and playing for the freebies up for grabs in "Uncharted 4."
For gaming fans waiting for "Uncharted: The Lost Legacy," Naughty Dog has made an announcement that they will be releasing it on Aug. 22.
