Two weeks until the light shines

In just over two weeks the debut single from LZ7 will be illuminating the charts and shining bright on 26 September.

‘This Little Light’ unloads all of its optimism and energy as part of the Shine Your Light campaign that has run throughout the summer; a campaign that has made clear that all this is about so much more than a song.

‘This Little Light’ is the song of choice that accompanies the call from the Message Trust for young people to get out and Shine Your Light. By encouraging thousands of young people all across the country to unload acts of kindness on their neighbours, families and communities, the revolution of oodness has made a significant impact.

All armies need a tune to march to, and LZ7’s single goes hand in hand with the good deeds. ‘This Little Light’ has become a YouTube sensation, notching up over 150,000 views to date, and the single itself is surely the best bit of pop to come out of the Church in the last decade; full of bounce and upward energy.

LZ7 will be appearing at a special launch gig at Manchester Apollo on Saturday 25
September, when thousands of Manchester school kids will gather to celebrate the Shine Your Light campaign.
