Toronto Blue Jays vs Kansas City Royals live stream (ACLS preview): Watch MLB Playoffs 2015 online (Fox Sports 1 TV)

The Toronto Blue Jays will play the Kansas City Royals on Friday night in Game 1 of their AL Championship Series. The MLB Playoffs 2015 move to a new stage tonight with teams now just one series win away from the World Series. Today's big game takes place from Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri with a scheduled start time of 8 p.m. ET. The game can be watched on TV on the Fox network or online through live stream via the link below.

Many had predicted that these two teams would meet here at this stage of the season. They were arguably the best two teams in the American League this season, and even though they had rollercoaster rides to get here, they have both successfully made it and now they will fight it out for the right to get into the World Series.

Both of these teams came back from the verge of elimination in the ALDS; the Blue Jays were 0-2 down against the Texas Rangers before they came storming back into the series with three straight wins. Meanwhile, the Royals were just six outs from being eliminated by Houston, and had to recover from being four runs down at that stage to sneak through.

This series will be a best of seven affair, with the first two games taking place at Kansas City, before moving to Toronto for the middle three games. If it gets that far, then the final two games of the series will see the teams return to Missouri for the climax.

Some fans may remember these two teams meeting in the 1985 ALCS, which was in fact the first season that a best of seven series format was implemented. In that series the Blue Jays pulled out to a 3-1 lead before the Royals won the final three games to steal the series 4-3. The Royals went on to defeat the Cardinals in the World Series, and even though that series 30 years ago will have no implications on how things will turn out this year, Kansas will be hoping for this series to go a similar way.

Today's big MLB Playoffs 2015 ALCS Game 1 between the Toronto Blue Jays and the Kansas City Royals has a scheduled start time of 8 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the Fox network or online through live stream by clicking here.
