'Tom Clancy's The Division' DLC update: 'Underground' DLC now on PS4

After getting a timed exclusive spot for the PC and Xbox One, the new "Underground" DLC has gone live for the PS4 version of "Tom Clancy's The Division."

Publisher Ubisoft made the announcement, adding that as with the release on the Xbox One and PC last month, the new DLC for the PS4 also introduces the new Incursion mission, Dragon's Nest, exclusive for level 30 and above players.

Meanwhile, prior to the update, some players have reported that the new DLC is not available for their PS4 copies, and it turns out that it is a minor understanding with how the expansion content was rolled out. Ubisoft has taken the servers off for about 30 minutes while rolling out the update. However, instead of an automatic update once the servers are up, the new "Underground" DLC needed to be downloaded from the DLC page first. In addition, though the servers went down at the same time for global players, the release of the expansion content for the PS4 came as a staggered roll-out, and regions are queued for "Underground" release one at a time.

Aside from the new Incursion, the new "Underground" DLC takes PS4 players deep into the underground networks of Manhattan, to a free-for-all against the Cleaners in Hell's Kitchen. In addition, the new expansion content also unlocks four new gear sets for PS4 players. Agents can now collect B.L.I.N.D., DeadEYE, FireCrest, and Reclaimer sets, and each completed set will unlock a new skill for the Agents to use.

The "Undergound" DLC is the first paid expansion content for "The Division." Prior to the PS4 release, it was a timed exclusive and launched first for the Xbox One and PC versions. It is now available for Season Pass holders, and those without the pass can get it as a stand-alone purchase for $15.
